Title: The Bride of the Water God
Mangaka: YOON Mi-kyung
Volumes: 5 volumes [Ongoing]
Scanlator: [RC-SCANS], Entropy
This story starts off slow but it develops into something that will really keep you interested.
The Bride of the Water God presents itself with beautiful illustrations with a great storyline to go a long with it.

I highly recommend this series not only because of its amazing drawings, but because of its great story line as well. The creativity of the author is amazing. The more you read, the more you want to find out.

I absolutely love Bride of the Water God!
It has the most stunning artwork I have ever seen. So beautiful and gorgeous!
The storyline is very interesting too! It is very well thought out, and there isn't a lot of talking, so you have to think a bit when reading it (my teenage daughter read some of it and didn't get it), but I'm totally hooked on the story.
It's about a girl named Soah who is sacrificed to the Water God, Habaek, for her village so that he will be appeased and give them much needed rain. She is to be his wife, though everyone believes him to be a monster. But when she gets to the place where he is, it turns out that he is actually a cute young boy! He is quite tempermental and doesn't really take to Soah at first. She doesn't know it, but the Water God actually is a young boy during the day, and a very handsome man during the night!!!
I just love the story, and highly recommend to everyone. |

As far as the artwork goes, it's stunningly beautiful. There are few artworks which can compete with it, and none of them are Korean (I always found the Korean manhwa lacking in the artwork department, compared to the Japanese manga). The colorist also made a great job and the bright colors are particularly well adapted to the artwork.
As for the plot, I'm a little more doubtful. It sure is great, with good characterizations, especially that of Soah. But the flow of the plot is a little too slow, because there are too much plot twists. Also, I don't understand all of the characters motives, because the author wants to keep an atmosphere of mystery, but I personally don't like not understanding something.
Other than that, the general plot in itself is well found out, I think, and it makes you hold your breath to know the next plot twist. The characters are well likable, even though a couple of the secondary characters can be annoying. |

| This is one of the most visualy stunning series I have found. I love the story too! It has confused me once or twice due to going form slow to fast paced but it is so worth every bit of rereading I have had to do.... all though I am really rereading it just so I can see all the wonderful artwork. |

I use Alzip http://www.altools.net/ It's free and simple to use, works great and it really doesn't take up a lot of space in your computer. You can download it, so that you'll be able to open .rar files.
I was hesitant to download it at first [because I'm not really techy like that lol]. It's really simple to use.
http://www.tenshi-tachi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=231<the girl from that thread convinced me to finally download it. She doesn't sound that knowledgeable in computers and programs either. I figured, if she can use it, so can I. XD _________________

And I have the habit of doing that too! Especially when it's a really good one.
By the way, are you a member in Tenshi Tachi or SMM forums? Your name sounds a bit familiar. hehe _________________
