| I haven't gone to any anime conventions, but I really want to. Anime conventions sound like a lot of fun! |

I've never been to a anime-convention, but in my city, once a years, there's a comics convention that also includes manga and anime (well, in a way they're kinda the main event)
Needless to say, i always make sure to go... there are a lot of stands that sell manga that aren't easily found and cosplayers too |

| Yeah. I got lucky. Oh course we all have our diffrences and I am the most addicted as it were. My husband likes comics better and my two year old is pretty much speed reacer and pokemon and he just started liking bakugan. My five year old rivals me in obsession, but at the momment he is more into the wolf man or werewolfs ..lol |

I went to the San Diego Comic Con this year and it was incredible! There were millions of fans all jam packed into the place! I took my daughter there for her birthday present and we had a blast! It took us seven hours just to visit all the vendors that were selling things. I brought home so much free stuff from the place that it filled up 3 bags. I even was able to get free manga from several of the different publishers (that impressed my daughter). I even was able to talk in person to the big wig executive at Dark Horse Publishing to ask them when the next volume of Bride of the Water God is coming out. He was surprised at my question and we had a nice discussion about the series. It was really fun to see all the cosplay (and the television crews trying to chase them down).
I sure would like to go again next year!!! |

So your a fan too?!
He said that they were having some problems with the translation, and since they want it perfect (they have high standards), there have been delays in it coming out. But he assured me that it will come out in a few months (though I doubt it won't be until next year, unfortunately). So he didn't give me an actual date, but atleast it hasn't been dropped. |

| we have a special savings account just for conventions, since my whole family goes.... we also try to pay for as much of it as we can in advance... that always helps to make the money issue a little easier to deal with... cause Lord knows I spend alot when we go. |
